The Landice E950 ElliptiMill is a top-of-the-line commercial cross trainer. This innovative treadmill/elliptical machine supports the natural stride associated with treadmill exercise, but it borrows elements from elliptical trainers to reduce the impact of such exercise on trainees’ joints. The ElliptiMill has another advantage over treadmills: it includes movable handlebars to support a total-body workout.

Landice ElliptiMills are sold with optional TVs and four console choices. The Pro Sports Trainer console described here is a step up from the most basic option. The main difference is the space for three additional user-designed workout programs.

Our Verdict

It’s not easy to find fault with the commercial Landice E950’s frame and mechanics. The trouble is figuring out which console to choose! The Pro Sports Trainer console is a minor step up from the Pro. Its greater number of user-defined profiles makes it preferred by some, but the Pro is a better buy for others.

The next step up is the Cardio Trainer. It features heart-rate control programs and fitness tests in addition to the workout modes found on the Pro Sports Trainer.
