LiveStrong LS10.0T

Editor's Rating: 9.5/10
This model has been discontinued.

The LS10.0 treadmill is an upgrade of the popular LiveStrong 9.9T. Expect a heavy-duty folding frame, a capable 2.75 HP motor, and an iPod-compatible audio system. With a top speed of 12 mph, this machine is suitable for walkers, joggers, and runners. A versatile treadmill for the space-conscious shopper.

What We Like:

  • Incline: The LS 10.0T inclines by up to 12 degrees so that users can target different muscle groups and burn calories even faster.
  • Console: LiveStrong consoles are simple yet sleek with easy-to-read LCD displays, built-in cup holders, and reading racks.
  • Motor: With a 2.75 HP motor, this home treadmill can support daily training.
  • Audio: This treadmill has an audio port, speakers, and a headphone jack.
  • Fitness Journal and exercise programs: With LiveStrong’s Fitness Journal system and 12 built-in exercise programs, you can compare workout results with your personal best and five previous workouts.
  • User capacity: The treadmill’s weight capacity is 325 pounds.
  • Warranty: The LS 10.0 comes with a lifetime warranty on the motor and frame, a 3-year warranty on parts, and one year of in-home labor.

What We Don’t Like:

  • Track length: The LS 10.0 T has an average-length track (55”). Not a deal breaker by any means though.

Our Verdict:

In general, all of the Livestrong machines are impressive. The LiveStrong 10.0 is a solid upgrade to the LS 7.9T. With an incline, a strong motor, and integrated audio, it provides all the basics of a decent home treadmill. For a bit more money, most users would prefer the 13.0T. This includes extra horsepower, a steeper incline, and longer track. This is a decent starter machine for those with low budgets and little space, but nothing to get particularly excited about.

Is there a way to stop the beeping every time I press a button? I get very bad shocks while running. How can I prevent this?

Hi Nicole, there should be a volume option on the console but that may not be for the buttons unfortunately.

My treadmill only runs on very slow speed and the only button that seems to be working is the stop button. None of the other buttons seem to be working at all.

Hi Ernest, it sounds like the treadmill may have a wiring issue. Have you contacted LiveStrong's customer service?

My treadmill turns on and system runs but the belt doesn't turn. It will elevate. What can the problem be?
    • Avatar photoAmanda BFebruary 18, 2020 at 4:43 pm
Hi Phyllis, it sounds like the tension of your treadmill belt is off or it is not properly aligned. You can try adjusting the tension or lubricating it. Make sure you consult the user manual before attempting to fix it!

My treadmill comes on, timer works, but the belt won't move. What can be the problem?

Amanda, I followed the directions in the owner's manual. I untighten and lubricated and it still doesn't turn the belt. Checked and the belt is in tact. What could be the problem?

I have a LS10.0T There is light on the panel, but none of the buttons work. Only beep when current is switched on or emergency buttons taken off / put on. Problem came suddenly, no problems earlier. When current is switched on there is a moment when "guest", "user1" and "user2" is changing rapidly on screen untill it stops and "enter" comes up. But pressing "enter" is without any effect.
