What We Like
- Price: Weslo treadmills are among the most affordable treadmills available. The Cardio Stride Plus, for instance, retails for just $249 and recently had a sale price of just $199.
- Space-saving: Weslo machines can be folded vertically to save space
What We Don’t Like
- Manual incline: To keep prices low, Weslo omits incline motors. This means that users need to manually adjust the treadmill in order to train on an incline.
- Motor: Weslo’s current top model, the Weslo Cadence 55, only has a 2.0 HP motor. This is only suitable for light use and is not designed for running. This particular treadmill’s top speed is 8.0.
- Belt: Weslo belts are noticeably smaller than those of other machines. The belt on the Cadence is just 45″ x 16″.
- Warranty: Weslo treadmills are not sold with warranties. Customers can return the fitness equipment within 30 days for a refund.
Our Verdict
Weslo treadmills are not recommended. They are inexpensive because they are not built to last, and no warranty plan is available. They are only intended for walking, have few features, and require the user to manually adjust the incline. Investing a bit more in another brand’s entry-level treadmill would pay off in the long run.
