The Landice L870 LTD Treadmill with the Executive Trainer console is the top treadmill in its class. It boasts a frame that’s actually stronger than steel and cushioning that’s far superior to grass or asphalt. A full color screen with advanced graphics and excellent preset program options help make this a four-star fitness machine.
Optional equipment includes the Landice WalkStation, which lets people surf the Internet and send email during workouts, and Landice Vision, a treadmill TV with DVD player.
What We Like
- Executive Console – The Executive Trainer console is Landice’s finest. It can save data for five trainees and includes the following workout options: five preset workouts with variable time, speed, and elevation; five user-defined programs; time, distance, and calorie goal programs; six fitness tests; two preset heart rate monitoring workouts; and four user-defined heart rate workouts. Wireless and contact heart-rate monitoring systems are standard. Furthermore, all Landice treadmills can be equipped with Landice Vision, which supports DVDs and cable TV.
- High Quality Treadbelt – The Landice L870 LTD Treadmill has a spacious 22”x63” treadbelt to accommodate virtually any runner. Its maintenance-free belt is made to endure: with four layers and large rollers, it can endure thousands more hours of use than can a single-ply or two-ply belt with small rollers.
- Incline – The track can incline 15% to help simulate road running and provide more challenging workouts.
- Powerful Motors – This model houses an American-made 3.0 CHP drive motor. The motor supports a high speed of 11 mph and can operate at top speed (4.0 HP) for 15 minutes without overheating. The L870 also has a powerful secondary motor for the incline. With 1,000 pounds of thrust, it provides smooth elevation and declination even at top speeds.
- iPod Pocket – A special iPod-sized non-slip pocket is built into the console for convenience.
- High Capacity – The Landice L870 LTD Treadmill has a 500-pound user capacity. It weighs 355 pounds and measures 32” wide by 82” long.
- Excellent Warranty – Owners of this light commercial cardio trainer get five years of coverage on the frame, motor, and parts plus a year of labor. The warranty is valid provided that the treadmill is not used for more than five hours a day.
