Greening your Treadmill
Treadmill Savers Reduce Consumption, Extend Equipment Life
How can you save time and money on gym equipment maintenance? A new “green” company that we have found has a truly valuable product: a “treadmill saver” that alert you when trouble’s brewing or energy is being wasted. According to them typical owner could save about $3 per day per treadmill!
A treadmill saver has big capabilities but it’s a simple concept and sounds simple to use. Once plugged into a treadmill’s base, the device works like a “Check Engine” light in a car:
- If the light is green, you’re good to go.
- When a yellow light shows, your treadmill has stopped running at peak efficiency. In this way you can be alerted about defective parts or human errors before they become more serious liabilities.
- A red light shows that maintenance is required as soon as possible.
Treadmill savers are made by Green Fitness Equipment Company of Del Mar, California. If you have tested it out let us know how it goes as we would love to hear it!
